Symptom

Dishwasher is not draining / There is standing water on the bottom (Error 5C/5E/OC/OE/4C)

Solution

If the water does not drain from the dishwasher properly, please check the following:

1)  Is the drain hose connected to the garbage disposal? - If the garbage disposal is connected, check if the knockout plug (cap) of the disposer was removed.

2)  Check if the drain hose is installed as "highloop" (U-Trap) - If the middle of the hose is well above the sink cabinet base.

3)  Check if the drain hose is kinked under the sink or end of the hose. - Ensure the drain hose is straightened.

4)  Is there any foreign materials in the hose drain or drain pump? - Check if the drain hose or pump is clogged. Clean the debris.
