Problem
Dishwasher is Leaking
[Leaks from: front, door, under, back, side, top, under the sink, sud, soap
(Error: LC / LE / Normal or Heavy light blinking)]
Solution
1. How much water is
leaking, small Puddle or Flood?
If it's a flood,
ask customer to shut off the water tap under the sink ASAP (or the main water
supply) and book
service call (if it's plumbing
issue, customer must call
a local plumber)
2. Is the unit new,
now many times has it been used?
If less than 5 times, then customer must
call installer first.
3. Is it leaking for
the first time?
If not properly installed or not levelled,
the dishwasher will leak from the door or under the sink, customer must call
installer to verify the installation.

4. Did customer opened
the door mid cycle?
Opening the door mid cycle can cause water
to leak down to the sensor and trigger an error code.
5.Is the dishwasher
full of suds?
Be careful not to over fill the dispenser.
Too much detergent can cause oversudsing, which
can in turn cause a leak.
The same thing applies to rinse aid.
WARNING:
DO NOT USE REGULAR
HAND DISH SOAP

6. Is the unit constantly
draining and showing an error code (LC/LE) or the display LEDs are flashing?
LC or LE or Normal or Heavy light blinking,
means the leak sensor has detected water under of the unit, book
a service call.
7. If the rubber gasket
is coming off, ask customer to push it back into the holder and see if it stays.
(Perform Visual Support)
If the gasket keeps coming out, then
book a service call.

8. For Water
Wall Models,
verify the water reflector is not blocked by dishes, utensils, or other objects.
(Perform Visual Support)

Note: Water
inlet hose or drain hose extension are not part of the dishwasher (They are
sold separately)
Therefore, they are
not covered under warranty.

Models:
The DMR57* and DMR77* dishwasher models may
experience water leaking through the bottom of the door gasket during a wash
cycle.
Visual inspection will show the seam of the
lower spray arm starting to separate.
The area filled with red in the illustration
below represents the seam where the splitting may occur.
SOLUTION:
Ask the customer for the BOS in order to verify
warranty status.
Create an NCP (follow
the NCP process) to send the
